Allocated Tasks Tab Fields and Buttons

Use the fields and buttons on the Allocated Tasks tab to view information about scheduled tasks that are allocated to you.

The grid columns that the following table displays are the default columns. You can select the columns that you want to see on the grid using the Column Selector Profiles pop-up.

Field Description
Click to access the Column Selector Profiles pop-up, where you can select to display/not display columns and then save your selections as a Column Selector profile.
# Click the job number to access information about the job to which this task belongs. Your ability to access job information is controlled by permissions.
Client -Task This column displays the name of the client and task that are associated with the allocation.
Hours Act. Of Allocated This column displays the actual number of hours that have been expended on the task compared the number of hours that have been allocated to the task. For example, 5:00 of 8:00 indicates that 5 hours have been expended on a task for which 8 hours have been allocated.
Days Left This column displays the number of days remaining until the task deadline.
(Happy Rating) Use this column to assign or view a graphic status indicator for a task:
  • — The task is proceeding as expected.
  • — There is a problem with the task, such as being behind schedule.
  • — The task is complete.

Click on an icon in this column to change the happy rating. Note that selecting the task complete icon removes the task from your Allocated Tasks list.

Timer Use this field as a task start/stop timer. The default is (stopped). Click this icon to start the timer initially. When you start the timer, additional buttons at the bottom of the tab are enabled.
  • Click the Stop button to stop the timer.
  • Click the Pause button to pause the timer.
  • Click the Record button to restart the timer if you have stopped or paused it.

When you stop the timer TrafficLIVE adds a time sheet entry on your calendar for the task that represents the elapsed time that the timer tracked.

Exclude Finished Work This check box is selected by default. Deselect it to display any tasks that you have marked as complete. (See the description of Happy Rating.)
Stop When the timer is running on a task, this button is enabled. Click this button to stop the timer.
Pause When the timer is running on a task, this button is enabled. Click this button to pause the timer.
Record When you have run and stopped the timer on a task, the Record button is enabled. Click Record to restart a stopped timer.
